ChoGa-Jip - Honolulu, HI

This place is the reopened restaurant that was previously on Ke'eaumoku (by the 88 super market)! The food here was wonderful and the service was so nice! We ordered the kimchi-jjigae with grilled mackerel, bori-bap (not easily found at other korean restaurants), and soft tofu stew with bulgogi. I didn't get to take pictures of everything since we ate too quickly haha! Everything here tasted so good and I was really surprised that they gave tteokbokki as banchan for free! The restaurant is also very nice and clean and there is parking available. It is also walking distance from the convention center so a nice place to have lunch/dinner! A definite recommend and we will be coming back!

Fantastic, authentic Korean food steps away from the conference center. Great lunch specials. I had the galbi with the cold buckwheat noodles on a hot afternoon post-meeting and it hit the spot. Generous portions and excellent flavours and air conditioning!

I'm a die hard for a soft tofu stew and this place hits the spot! It was even on the lunch special menu which is between 11am to 3pm by the way! Also, all the side dishes were absolutely delicious, would love to come back

Such a great Korean restaurant found in Ala Moana area. Very authentic Korean taste - clean and mild taste especially. Super friendly staff. Would like to visit again for other dishes. Strongly recommend.
